Mr. Ouyang Ming, the founder of Hope Media Foundation and Globe Union, advocated the concept of nonprofit behaviors and donated the Center for Media and Social Impact (CMSI) at National Central University.
The purpose of the Center for Media and Social Impact (CMSI) at National Central University is to promote social behaviors that benefit other people and are motivated by altruism. Our mission is devoted to conduct cross-disciplinary research and teaching related to media and social impact. We also collaborate with governments and the third sector organizations to raise the social impact of communication media. Accordingly, our annual tasks include three major directions: research, education and advocacy. We conduct related researches and investigations, build knowledge bank, develop credit program, provide education trainings, and host the Hope Media Award and International Forum.
